The Royals were able to strike first as senior
Wendy Roberts scored at 7:36 in the first period. The game stayed 1-0 until Concordia scored the lone goal of the second period at 10:20. The Cobbers were able to take a 3-1 lead with third period scores at 4:59 and 10:05 to put serious pressure on the Royals. Bethel responded however, as
Sarah Moy scored the second goal of the game for Bethel at 13:19 to pull within 3-2. The Royals wasted little time in tying the game at 3-3 as freshman

Kennedi Mitchell, scored 11:43 in to send the Royals onto the semifinals.
Bethel's victory rewards them with a trip to St. Peter, Minnesota on Saturday afternoon for a matchup with the No. 1 seeded Gustavus Adolphus Gusties. The game will start at 2 p.m. The last time the Royals traveled to St. Peter as the No. 5 seed, in 2013-14, Bethel came out on top by a 6-3 score on their way to the first of back-to-back MIAC Championship game appearances.
