MOORHEAD, Minn. - The Bethel University volleyball team made the midweek trip to snowy Moorhead, Minnesota and came back with a sweep of Concordia College. The Royals took the three sets by nearly identical scores of 25-21, 25-21 and 25-22. The Royals accumulated 57 points on 50 kills, four aces and three blocks in the match.
Tina Hoppe and
Macie Gavic both totalled double digits in kills with 11 and 10 respectively.
Maria Claflin and
Brooke Olstad added nine kills each.
Hannah Wilhite had 27 assists while
Allie Fauth totaled 30 digs.
The win improves Bethel to 18-4 on the season and 5-2 in MIAC play. The Royals will take a break from conference action for a two-day trip on Friday and Saturday to Naperville, Illinois and Whitewater, Wisconsin. Bethel will take on Central College (Iowa) and North Central College on Friday in Naperville before heading to Whitewater to take on Edgewood College and UW-Whitewater on Saturday.
