Stern Voted MIAC Hitter of the Week for Second Time This Season
The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) announced its Athlete of the Week award winners in football, volleyball, and soccer on Monday. Included among the honorees was senior middle blocker
Kristin Stern, who earned the conference recognition for the second time this season and the fourth time in her career.
Stern was a key factor in Bethel's undefeated week in league play last week, which included a thrilling 3-2 victory over No. 10-ranked Gustavus on Friday. Stern posted 26 kills and a .246 hitting percentage while amassing 1.00 blocks per set in a pair of MIAC matches last week.
