Klamm's 400 Highlights Tomcat Twilight


RESULTS

ST. PAUL—Carl Klamm ran the third-fastest 400-meter dash in Division III this season, crossing the line in 47.88 seconds to win Thursday evening's Tomcat Twilight meet at Hamline University. Klamm's time was just .01 off his personal best mark from last season and leads the MIAC by over a second.

Evan Hatton recorded a new personal best to finish fifth in the 800-meter run. Hatton's time of 1:53.35 currently ranks fourth in the MIAC, 14th in Division III and makes him the eighth-fastest performer in Bethel history.

Two other Royals ran personal bests in the 800 meters as well. David Huffman clocked 1:57.47 and Taylor Huffman cracked the two-minute barrier for the first time, stopping the clock at 1:59.90.

Decathlete Kyle Stichman set new personal best marks in the 100-meter dash and the shot put. In the 100m, Stichman broke 12 seconds for the first time in his career, finishing in 11.96, before throwing the shot put 27-04 (8.33 meters).
