ARDEN HILLS, MINN.—Bethel University has hired Hailie Kent as their next assistant men's and women's track & field coach. Kent, who officially began her duties with the Royals on August 17, will work with the jumps/multis.
Kent is a native of Alexandria, Minnesota, and spent her academic and athletic career at UW-La Crosse. As an NCAA Division III track & field athlete, she competed in the long and triple jumps. Kent and the Eagles won the 2023 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field National Championship. In addition, she is an eight-time WIAC Team Champion, and an individual WIAC Champion in the triple jump.
Kent earned her bachelor of science degree in marketing, with a minor in leadership development from UW-La Crosse in May 2026.
"I am excited to begin my coaching journey at Bethel University and be part of a Christ-centered community that values developing student-athletes both on and off the track," said Kent. "I am looking forward to building relationships with our athletes, sharing my passion and experience in the sport, and helping them grow as competitors, leaders, and individuals."
