BLAINE, Minn. – The Bethel University men's hockey team found themselves in a 3-0 hole after the first period against the Gustavus Adolphus College Golden Gusties and were unable to dig out in a 6-2 loss.

Michael Bond scored the Royals two goals, both coming in the second period. The Gusties however scored once in the second and twice in the third to go along with their three first period goals. Bethel actually outshot the Gusties 33-26 in the contest.
The Royals and Gusties will faceoff in the series final Saturday evening at 7 p.m. from the Don Roberts Ice Rink on the campus of Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota.
