ST. PETER, Minn. – The Bethel University men's hockey team was shutout on the road against Gustavus Adolphus College Saturday night by a 3-0 score. The Gusties scored once in the first and twice in the second while limiting Bethel to 16 shots in the game.
Aaron Furlano's first appearance in net for the Royals was a solid one as the freshman from Spring Lake Park made 44 saves. The first two Gusties goals were scored on the power play.
Next up for Bethel is the final series of the 2016-17 season as they will host the Concordia College Cobbers next weekend with a 7 p.m. matchup Friday night and 2 p.m. on Saturday from Bethel University Arena.
