ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - The Bethel University women's hockey team will make their second appearance in program history in the MIAC Championship game this Saturday afternoon against the University of St. Thomas. The No. 5 seeded Royals have made an impressive run into the championship contest with a 7-1 win over No. 4 Saint Mary's University and a 6-3 victory at No. 1 Gustavus last Thursday and Saturday. Bethel will now travel to No. 2 St. Thomas for Saturday's 2 p.m. faceoff at the St. Thomas Ice Arena in Mendota Heights, Minnesota.
Saturday's winner will advance into the NCAA Playoffs that will begin next weekend at a to be determined site.
Tickets are $7 for adults and $3 for any students (5 years old and younger are free). There is no senior discount. MIAC Passes will be honored. No other passes are to be accepted.
