ST. PAUL, Minn.—Bethel University's volleyball team made it three straight wins Saturday afternoon with a 3-0 sweep on the road over conference foe, St. Catherine University. The Royals clipped the Wildcats 25-23 in the opening set, paving the way for a 25-19 and 25-16 victory in the second and third sets.

BU hit .207 as a team, but perhaps the most impressive feat was
Katie Lubben's 42 assists throughout the three sets played. Lubben also completed her double-double with 12 digs. She set up
Kristin Stern, who had a stellar performance Saturday—going for 13 kills and a .435 hitting percentage.

Stern was aided by
Carlee Hoppe and
Kali Johnson, who recorded eight and seven kills, respectively. Hoppe and Johnson each had double-digit digs as well, with Johnson pumping out 19 digs and Hoppe 12.
Maddison Messner also composed 16 digs throughout the match.

Now 14-5 overall and 4-1 in the MIAC, Bethel will continue their road show next week, when they travel to Augsburg College for a highly anticipated match with the Auggies on Wednesday, October 8 at 7 p.m. Augsburg has been among the Top 25 teams throughout the entire season.
