ARDEN HILLS, Minn.—Riding the high of a 3-0 victory Friday night, the Bethel University volleyball team kept their foot on gas pedal Saturday with a 3-0 win over St. Catherine University. With the success, the Royals (9-7, 2-2 MIAC) get back to .500 against conference opponents and get back to a win streak as well. The Wildcats (6-12, 0-4), however, remain winless against MIAC opponents.

Carlee Hoppe and the Royals tallied 39 total kills Saturday, with Hoppe leading the way at 13. The freshman from Shakopee, Minn., recorded a .571 hitting percentage, while
Nicole Ackatz managed seven kills and an attacking mark of .278.

Kari Blom also had an exceptional performance against the Wildcats—finishing with six kills, three serving aces, and four blocks.
Hannah Grow and
Kali Johnson each went for double-digit digs in the three-set affair, as Grow mustered a match-high 13 digs and Johnson, 10.

Ashlyn Hucky and
Katie Lubben continued to share the setting duties, as Hucky finished with 17 assists and Lubben, 14.

Bethel's defensive effort held St. Catherine to just 25 total kills, with no one on the Wildcats team going for more than eight kills.

The Royals face Augsburg College this Wednesday in a MIAC battle at the Robertson Center Gym. The opening serve is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Bethel is celebrating homecoming all next week.
