ARDEN HILLS, Minn. – The Bethel University women's soccer team ended a five game skid and picked up their first Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) victory on Wednesday, defeating the University of St. Thomas by a score of 1-0 in overtime.

Christa Heiligenthal headed in a cross from
Suzette Anderson for the win. It was Heiligenthal's third goal in the last two contests as she scored twice against Carleton on Saturday.
The Royals move to 3-6 (1-3 MIAC) on the season with the win, and will travel to Macalester College to face the Scots on Saturday at 1 p.m.
