ARDEN HILLS, Minn. – At the beginning of the 2012 campaign, Bethel University Head Volleyball Coach
Gretchen Hunt was just five wins shy of her 200th career victory. Throughout the course of the Bethel University Volleyball Invitational Hunt and the Royals defeated Martin Luther College, welcoming Hunt into the 200-win club.
At the conclusion of the weekend Tournament Hunt and the Royals have begun their 2012 season 7-1, with its only loss to the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Coach Hunt's career total now lies at 202-149, which gives the 12-year coach a winning percentage of .575.
Bethel opens its Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) schedule this week, as the Royals host St. Olaf College on Wednesday, September 12. Following Wednesday's 7 p.m. affair, BU will travel to Mount Vernon, Iowa to take part in the Cornell College Classic.
