Tournament website | Live webcasts

ARDEN HILLS, Minn. – Bethel University hosts its 24th annual Tip-Off Tournament, hosted by Perkins of Arden Hills, Minn. The Royals welcome three new teams this year from three different conferences, including the College of St. Scholastica (UMAC), the University of Wisconsin-Stout (WIAC), and Simpson College (WIAC). The Robertson Center Gym will play host to four games throughout the weekend, including two Friday night and two Saturday night.

UW-Stout will take on St. Scholastica in Friday night's 6 p.m. matchup, as the Blue Devils and Saints both look to start the season with a check in the win column. Bethel will then host Simpson in the 8 p.m. contest following the first game, which will determine who plays Saturday. The loser of both games will square off at 6 p.m. Saturday, followed by a dual between the winners at 8 p.m.

Last year's season opener provided quite the thrill as Bethel took down the potential regular season UMAC champion, Bethany Lutheran in double over time before falling to UW-River Falls in the final seconds by three points. UW-River Falls went on to win the WIAC and advance to the NCAA Division III Tournament.

The Royals hope to take back the tournament crown, as Bethel hasn't been victorious since 2008. For all other tournament information and for live webcasts of every game see the links above. Live stats will not be available for any game this weekend.
