ARDEN HILLS, Minn. – The Royals return to the NCAA Division III Playoffs for the seventh time since 2000, and look to take its postseason record north with an even 6-6 record. Bethel travels to River Forest, Ill. to take on Concordia University-Chicago, who finished the season 10-0 and the automatic qualifier from the Northern Athletics Conference. Game time for Saturday's first round of the postseason is set for noon and live stats and webcasts will be available.

BU was given the opportunity to play in the postseason thanks to a 27-22 win over Saint John's last weekend that pushed the Royals to 8-2. This win didn't make Bethel an automatic, but gave the Royals an opportunity for a pool C bid into the postseason—a bid that only seven schools get.

Over the course of the 2012 campaign Concordia has showcased a high-powered offense, averaging nearly 500 yards per game. Andrew Maddox will be the featured back, as the tailback averages 106 yards per game and just under 7.0 yards per carry. Quarterback Jake Koehler and receiver Sherman Jones will also be dangerous on the ground, as the two have averaged 67.5 and 44.7 yards per game, respectively.

Koehler has averaged 231.6 yards throwing per game, in addition to his 67 yards on the ground. Koehler carries a 162.9 passing efficiency into Saturday's contest and a 59.3 completion percentage. His main target will be Jamal Thomas who has caught 49 passes for 859 yards and 12 touchdowns. Sherman Jones will also be a familiar name in the passing game, as he averages 53.1 yards per game and has accumulated four receiving touchdowns (alongside five rushing).

Tickets for Saturday's game will available on site or through will call. For fans looking to purchase tickets ahead of time, they can call the Concordia University athletics office at (708) 209-3116. General admission for adults is eight dollars while students will be charged four dollars. Cash and credit card are both acceptable forms of payment.
