Women's Soccer Bests Cornell College 7-1

ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - The Royal had a prefect afternoon for Friday's contest against the Rams from Cornell College, and they took advantage as they defeat their opposition 7-1. Six different women got in on the scoring as they out shot the Rams 23-3. With the win Bethel improves to 7-2-1.

Breaking down the scoring the Royals put up three goals in the first period, and four in the second. Cornell scored thier only goal of the game with just under eight minutes left to play in the second period. Leah Hardie (Sr., Ankeny, Iowa), Kelsey Flaherty (Jr., Shoreview, Minn.), Sophie Christiansen, (Sr., Portland, Ore.), Emma Blanchard (Fr., Decorah, Iowa), Suzette Anderson (So., Lino Lakes, Minn.), and Renn Gardner (Fr., Littleton N.H.) all contributed to the Bethel win.

Wednesday the Royals will travel to River Falls as they take on the Falcons for another non-conference game before they return home to host confernce rival St. Benedict on the 11th.
