BOX SCORE:

BU vs. Concordia

ARDEN HILLS, Minn.
– The Bethel Women's Tennis team dropped three conference matches in the early weeks of April to move their record to 2-10 overall and 0-5 in the conference.

Taking on the University of St. Thomas on April 3rd, the Royals couldn't combat the Tommies, as they lost 8-1. Kayla Wheeler collected the lone Bethel win when she defeated Anna Wright in the #5 singles pairing.

The Royals next match on April 8th was much the same story, as they fell to the College of Saint Benedict 8-1 in St. Joseph, Minnesota. #2 singles player Lisa Scheevel won her match when she defeated the Blazers Aly Brandell.

In their third match against Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, the Royals put forth a competitive match with the Cobbers. Despite falling in the #1-3 singles pairs, the Royals came back and won the 4-6 pairings. Leigh Kreklau, Amanda Johnson, and Wheeler all help bring the Royals back into the match. Abby Edin and Kreklau would go onto win their #2 doubles pair, but the Royals ultimately fell by a final of 5-4.

Bethel will compete against Gustavus Adolphus College on April 16 at 10:00 a.m. on the campus of Bethel University.
