ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - Lydia Bergeson (So., Mauston, Wis.) has been named this week's Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week by the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC).

Bergeson scored the lone goal against St. Thomas Saturday that gave the Royals their fist win over the Tommies in program history.

During the match Bergeson had two shots on goal, one of which was the game winner. So far this season Bergeson lead the Royals and ranks in the top 10 in the MIAC in shots (27), shots per game (3.38), points (13), points per game (1.62), goals (5), goals per game (0.62) and assists (3), and she's tied for first with three game-winning goals.

The 5-2-1 Royals will be in action again on Wednesday at 2 pm. hosting the 6-1-1 Concordia Cobbers.
