ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - The Bethel University Women's Soccer team couldn't get any offense going on Tuesday afternoon as they were defeated by the Saint Mary's University Cardinals 1-0 at the Ona Orth Sports Complex.

The Cardinals jumped ahead early with a goal in the first half and played stellar defense from there on out. Despite pummeling the Cardinals goaltender with 18 shots on goal, the Royals couldn't manage to slip one past as they would go on to lose by a final of 1-0

Kelsey Flaherty (So., Shoreview, Minn.) and Lydia Bergeson (So., Mauston, Wis.) accounted for half of Bethel's shots on goal.

The Royals continue play Saturday at Hamline University where they will take on the Pipers at 4 p.m.
