ST. PETER, Minn. - Bethel's women's tennis team found itself over-matched against a nationally ranked Gustavus Adolphus team today and fell by a score of 9-0.

The Royals were defeated in straight sets in doubles and singles, with Ashley Watts (Sr., Winona, Minn.) putting up the best fight, only to lose 4-6 and 3-6. Another positive to come of the match was the return of Carrie Kishaba (So., Eau Claire, Minn.), who had been sidelined with an injury. Though she did not play in an officially scored match, she did defeat her Gustavus opponent 6-4 in the single set she played.

The loss drops Bethel to 1-5 overall and 0-5 in the MIAC. The Royals will now set their sights on their trip to Florida where they will play a number of matches between March 13-20.
