FRIDLEY, Minn. - After only a week of matches, the Bethel women's tennis team had to play one of the toughest teams in the MIAC, Carleton College, who is ranked 28th nationally. The match was held at the Public Indoor Tennis facility  on Saturday afternoon.

Although Carleton beat Bethel 8-1, the Royals played hard and made Carleton earn their victory. In singles competition, Carleton won all six matches, but Krista Nauman (So., Buffalo, Minn.) won seven games against her opponenet and Ashley Watts (Sr., Winona, Minn.) won five games against her opponent. In doubles competition, Nauman and Watts defeated their opponents 8-5 to put the Royals on the scoreboard.
