Women's Soccer Drops Close Match Against Carleton

ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - The Bethel women dropped a close 2-1 match today as they hosted fellow conference opponent Carleton College. The Knights lead the MIAC with a conference record of 6-1 and are 8-2 overall.

With the loss the Royals now sit 8th in the conference standings with a conference record of 2-3-1 and an overall record of 5-5-2. The Royals have 6 regular seasons games left with equal time at home and on the road.

Leading the offense for the Royals on was Carrie Kishaba (Jr., Eau Claire, Wis.) who had the lone goal of the day. Also contributing to the Royals cause were Kelsey Flahrety (So., Shoreview, Minn.), Micaella Petrich (Fr., Rosemont, Minn.), and Suzzette Anderson (Fr., Lino Lakes, Minn.) each had a shot on goal.
On defense Alyssa Riggs (Sr., Columbia Heights, Minn.) had 5 saves.

The next action for the Royals will come on Tuesday as they host Augsburg College. Augsburg comes into the match with a record of 2-4 in the MIAC and 3-7-2 overall.
