ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Royals were in action tonight just down Snelling at Northwestern College. The women took on both Martin Luther and Northwestern in the triangular tournament. The games in each match were very close though the Royals ended up getting edged in both matches.

In the first match the Royals faced Martin Luther College from New Ulm. Martin Luther won the match 3-1 going 22-25, 26-24, 25-19, 25-18. In the second match the Royals faced off against host Northwestern. The Eagles took the match 3-0 but the Royals fought the whole way keeping each game close 25-21, 27-25, 25-18.

The Royals continue play this coming week when they go to Augsburg College on Friday.
