ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - The Royals dropped today's match against conference opponent Augsburg College 2-0. In the match the Royals had many opportunities to score as they put 13 shots on goal and 21 shots overall but were just not able to capitalize on those chances to put one in the net.

With the loss the Royals move to an overall record of 5-6-2, and 2-4-1 in the MIAC. Meanwhile Augsburg improves to 4-7-2 overall and 3-4 in the MIAC.

Key players in this match for the Royals were Suzette Anderson (Fr., Lino Lakes, Minn.), and Kelsey Flahrety (So., Shorview, Minn.) who each had three shots on goal. Krista Polding (Sr., Waconia, Minn.) and Sophie Christiansen (Jr., Portland, Ore.) were also contributors to the Royals offense each with 2 shots on goal.

The Royals travel to St. Joseph on Saturday to compete against St. Benedicts. The Blazers currently sit 7th in the MIAC.
