ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - Liz Glesne moved up a notch in the MIAC record books and the Royals ended their regular season by snapping a three-game conference losing streak with a 3-0 (30-17, 30-21, 30-25) win over St. Catherine.
Glesne (Sr., Underwood, MN) recorded 14 kills, giving her 1,926 in her career, which is enough to move her into 2nd place all-time in the MIAC. Katie Reynolds, who played at St. Thomas from 1999-2002, moves down a slot with her 1,922 career kills.
Stephanie Schmidt (So., Montgomery, MN) had 11 kills, while Laura Naig (Sr., Kasson, MN) had 40 of the team's 46 assists. She also had five of the team's nine service aces.
Whitney Sparby and Alissa Domeier led the way for the Wildcats with 6 kills each.
Bethel begins MIAC playoff action as the #4 seed and will play Carleton at home on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. in the Robertson Center.
