Marie Borner won the 800 meter run with a time of 2:17.01 at the UW-Stout Open last weekend. Borner defeated her nearest competitor by nearly five seconds and was just half a second off of earning an NCAA provisional mark in the race. Borner and the Royals next scheduled meet is the Bethel Invitational on February 6.
