Biography
About Marie: Borner graduated from Park High School in 2005. During high school she participated and lettered in cross country, nordic skiing, and track and field. Also during high school she earned awards for Academic All-State, Scholar Athlete, All-State Cross Country, All-Conference Cross Country, All-Conference Nordic Skiing, All-State Nordic Skiing, and 2004 Minnesota Runner of the Year Semi-Finalist. In her free time Marie likes to participate in outdoor activities, play frisbee golf, hike, play sports, scrapbook, watch movies, and go to the beach. She is majoring in Exercise Science. After she graduates from Bethel University, Borner is planning on attending graduate school or getting a job in Sports Peformance.
Why Bethel?: "I chose to come to Bethel because I wanted to be in a Christian atmosphere where I could grow more spiritually. I wanted to be on a campus that puts God at the center, and I wanted to be in a place that would help me develop a stronger relationship with the Lord."
