Bethel University Athletics

Sofia Caballero joins the Bethel University women's soccer coaching staff in 2026 after a highly competitive playing career at the NCAA Division I level.

Caballero spent four years as a midfield anchor for the University of St. Thomas Tommies, bringing recent, high-level tactical understanding straight from the field to our training sessions. Alongside her role here, Caballero continues to shape the next generation of local talent as a club coach with Maplebrook. Her deep, active ties to the Twin Cities club soccer scene give our program a powerful advantage on the recruiting trail. She will focus on identifying top-tier local prospects who possess the technical skill and work ethic required to succeed at the collegiate level. Caballero's recent experience as a Division I student-athlete, technical knowledge, and energetic leadership make her a dynamic asset in both talent acquisition and individual player development.
