Bethel University Athletics

Coach Ronning has been the assistant coach since joining Drew Fernelus’ staff in 2012. Rick is a native of Parkers Prairie, Minnesota and went on to the University of Minnesota - Morris where he played football, basketball and tennis.  He was the head tennis pro for 12 years after college at the Northland Fitness Center. He has been a State Farm Insurance agent since 1989.
Rick and his wife Nancy have three children, Kyle, Kirby and Maggie(Ben). They also have one granddaughter, Eleanor.
