Monica Burich is in her first year as an assistant coach with the Bethel women's basketball team. A Roseville, Minn. native, she was a three-year member of the Drake Bulldogs after spending a two seasons at Buffalo.
At Drake she was a MVC Elite 17 winner in 2020-21 and appeared in 93 games over three seasons. Her graduate year she started in all 30 games averaging 17.2 minutes, 7.5 points and 5.8 rebounds.
A four-year letter writer at Roseville, she led the Huskies to a 2105 Suburban East Conference title and reach the Class 4A Section 4 finals. A 2015 Miss Minnesota Basketball finalist, she finished her prep career with 1,226 points, 830 rebounds, 342 assists and 302 steals. She was a two-time Class 4A All-State selection and three-time Suburban East all-conference selection.
She graduated from Drake with a degree in business management with a data analytics minor while also earning her masters.
