Matt Houston joined the Bethel staff in 2019 and works with the Royals wide receivers. Houston is a graduate of North Central College (Ill.) where he played for the Cardinals from 2012-2014 and was a three-time Academic All-CCIW selection in helping NCC to a pair of CCIW championships and a 2013 run to the NCAA DIII semifinals. Houston was also part of the NFF Hampshire Honor Society. Houston’s coaching career started in 2015 as the tight ends coach for Chelsea (Mich.) High School where they were the MHSAA Division III runner up. He then moved to Lowell (Mich.) High School from 2016-2018 as the quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator. Houston resides in St. Paul and is a business data analyst for Spikeball, Inc.
