Leah Schubring

Leah Schubring will embark on her first season as Bethel University head women's golf coach in 2026-27.

Schubring (formerly Leah Herzog), came to the Royals following two seasons as assistant women's golf coach at the University of Tulsa. She helped guide the Golden Hurricane women's golf program to the 2025-26 American Conference Championship, and a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Regional. Prior to Tulsa, Schubring worked for Minnesota PGA.

Schubring, a native of Red Wing, Minnesota, played collegiate golf at the University of Nebraska from 2019-2021, and the University of Minnesota from 2021-2023.

At Red Wing High School, Schubring was a 2018 and 2019 Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) Girl's Golf State Runner-Up. Schubring's senior year culminated in her being named 2019 Minnesota Ms. Golf.

"I'm incredibly honored and excited to become the next head coach at Bethel," said Schubring. "There is something incredibly special about a community that values both competitive excellence and spiritual growth. I cannot wait to get to work with this team, build meaningful relationships, and pursue high goals together. I'm motivated to continue building this program with energy, passion, and purpose."

Schubring graduated from the University of Minnesota in May 2023 with a degree in English.
