Bethel University Athletics

Julie Eibensteiner enters her first season as Bethel University assistant women's soccer coach in 2026. She will work with goalkeepers.

Eibensteiner brings over 17 years of elite NCAA Division I and Division III coaching experience to the staff. A specialist in goalkeeper development, she spent a decade as an assistant coach at the University of St. Thomas, where she anchored a defensive unit that produced multiple MIAC Defensive Players of the Year and All-Americans. Her extensive coaching resume also includes impactful stints at Iowa State University and Macalester College. Prior to coaching, Eibensteiner was a five-year player for the Minnesota Gophers. In addition to her tactical expertise, she holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and serves as a sports performance specialist.
