Biography
The 2010 Richfield High School graduate, Stephanie Skoog, was an athlete in volleyball, basketball and track. In basketball, this Richfield, Minn., local was appointed captain in 2010, was Most Improved Player in 2009, Best Defense in 2007, had the School Record for most wins in 2010, and Conference Champs in 2008, 2009 and 2010. In volleyball, Stephanie was captain in 2010, Most Improved Player in 2008, and was All-Conference Honorable Mention in 2010. In track, Stephanie was also captain in 2010, All-Conference Honorable Mention in High Jump for 2007, All-Conference in High Jump 2008, 2009 and 2010, attained the School Record for the High Jump in 2008 and 2009, had All-State Academics in 2008, 2009 and 2010, was Trackster of the year in 2008, was 5th Place at State in 2009 and 9th at State in 2010. Stephanie was also All-State for High Jump in 2009, was Section Champion in 2009 and 2010, and was declared Most Dedicated Athlete in 2009 for track. Outside of her achievements in sports, Stephanie was also the Year Book Editor, Teacher’s Aid and Spartan Crew Leader from 2009 till 2010. She also participated in Mission trips and youth group, amongst other social activities. Stephanie was awarded with the President’s Award for Academic Excellence from 2007-2010, was on the A Honor Roll from 2007 till 2010, ranked 2st in her class as Valedictorian, and was given the Athena Award in 2010. Daughter of Tim and Kelly Skoog, Stephanie is currently majoring in Organizational Communications.
