Biography
About Sam:
This is Sam's last year at Bethel but she plans on making it a great one. Sam has goals of improving her personal best's in both the javelin and the hurdles indoor and outdoors. In 2016 Sam returned for her third year of track at Bethel. After studying for a semester abroad in Europe, the Junior hurdler hopes to continue her success. Last season, Sam branched out of her normal routine in the sprints and hurdles to try her hand in the field events. She quickly excelled at the Long Jump and Javelin throw, achieving personal best marks in both. She remained consistent in the hurdles, qualifying for Outdoor Conference at Macalaster in the 100M Hurdles. As a freshman in 2014, Sam qualifyed for the Indoor Conference Championships in the 60M Hurdles and Outdoor as well in the 100M Hurdles. Her times in those events still stand as her personal bests.
