Kelsey is a 2012 graduate from Rogers High School where she participated in hockey, volleyball, cross country and softball. The Rogers, Minn., native lettered 6 years in hockey, was honored as MVP in defense for two years, All Conference and also All Conference Honorable Mention for five years. She won the Hobey Baker Character Award in 2010-2011, was appointed team captain for two years, and was a three year letter winner in softball and a one year letter winner in cross country. Kelsey was also awarded with being on the All Conference Academic Team six times, was a three year spotlight on scholarship, a letter winner in academics and a letter winner in band. Daughter of Pam and Gary Johnston, Kelsey is currently majoring in Physical Education with a minor in DAPE and Coaching.
