About Sophie: Borgerding is a native of Minneapolis and graduated from Totino-Grace High School in Fridley, Minnesota. During her years at Totino-Grace she lettered in hockey and lacrosse, while earning honors as All-Conference Honorable Mention in hockey. Academically, Sophie was named to the All-State Academic team, as well as All-Conference Academic team. She is currently majoring in spanish education and minor in athletic coaching at Bethel.
