Mara played hockey and fast pitch softball before she graduated from Minnehaha Academy in 2012. This St. Paul, Minn., native was All-Conference in both softball and hockey her senior year. She was also All-Conference Honorable Mention for two years in softball and once in hockey. Mara is the daughter of Bob and Grace Raymond.
