About Katelyn: Vavra is a graduate from East Central High School is Askov, Minnesota, where she played volleyball, basketball and track. She was granted letters in all three sports, receiving three in volleyball, five in basketball and three in track. Katelyn was honored with All-Conference in basketball for three years and in volleyball for two years. She also was recognized as a 1000-point scorer in basketball. She was in the National Honors Society, participated in Student Council and enjoyed parts in school musicals. Katelyn’s parents are Richard and Jennifer Thomsen and she is currently majoring in Health and Physical Education with a minor in Adaptive Physical Education.
