Kal graduated high school in 2011 from Maple Grove, Minnesota. In school, she played softball with the position of third baseman. In 2011, Kal achieved All-Conference, was captain of her team and was also chosen as MVP. She is the daughter of Greg and Debra Sorensen and her major is currently Undecided.
