Rod Radcliffe

Rod is in his fourth year at the helm of the Bethel University Softball Program. Coach Radcliffe has coached for 28 years with the past 14 in softball at the high school and college ranks. Before coming to Bethel Radcliffe served as the head coach at Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls, Iowa since 1992.

Radcliffe brings a renewed enthusiasm to the Royals' program. He has helped to build the softball program into a competitive team on the field making noticible strides each year. Radcliffe states "I believe we finally have turned the corner with this freshman class and the returning players. 18 new players will be a part of this new team. We have some good leadership with our captains and seniors. Striving to be the best team, we will maintain our focus on hard work, fundamentals, a strong family-like team, keeping the game of softball fun, and being witnesses to Jesus Christ on and off the field."

In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Radcliffe serves as the manager of Bethel 's Sports and Recreation Center and the Ona Orth Athletic Complex.

He and his wife, Julie have three children, Adam, Tyler , and Koby.
