Biography
Matthew graduated from North High School in 2011 where he participated in cross country, Nordic skiing and track. This Oakdale, Minn., native was a cross country Conference Champ, a Section Champ, and All-State. He was also All-Conference in Nordic skiing. In track, Matthew was also a Conference Champ in 1600m and 3200m and Section champ in 1600m. Aside from sports, Matthew was in the National Honor Society and band. Son of Mark and Lynn Berens, Matthew is currently majoring in Biochemistry with a minor in Mathematics.
