Biography
About David:
At the 2016 indoor MIAC Championships at Carleton David was apart of the Bethel Men's All-Confrence Distance Medley Relay (DMR). Now in 2017 All-Confrence is not enough for the Bethel Junior, David aims to win the DMR. One of David's goals for the 2017 outdoor season is to break the 2 minute barrier in the 800M run. A cross-country athlete in the Fall, David hopes to continue his success on the track this season. As a freshman in 2015 David ran on Bethel's 4x8 relay team at the Outdoor Conference meet, placing 7th overall. But perhaps the highlight of his season came the week before when he had a breakout race in the 800. His time of 1:57.76 dismantled his previous personal best by over 3 seconds. David currently attends Bethel with twin brother and teammate Taylor Huffman who both live in Woodbury with their parents, Scott and Barb, and 2 siblings. Â
