Former Wisconsin Badger and 13-year professional, Dan Bjornlie will coach the Royals defensemen. Bjornlie played for the Badgers from 1996-2000 and was an assistant captain his senior season and also a part of Wisconsin’s 1998 National Championship team. He then went on to play two seasons professionally with Quad Cities in the UHL before playing overseas in Germany and Austria for 11 seasons. He retired after the 2012-13 season and currently works as a sales consultant at Hanratty & Associates. Dan and his wife Molly have two boys, Jakob and Lukas.
