Bethel University Athletics

Brennan Vargas begins his third season on staff with the Bethel men’s hockey team. Vargas enters his first season as a full time assistant after spending two years as a graduate assistant. Vargas has a great deal of playing experience as the Minnesota native has played in many arenas across the country. He was a silver medalist on the Under 17 World Hockey Challenge and Under 18 World Championships before playing for the Tri-City Storm in the USHL and Burnaby Express in the BCHL in 2007 and 2008. He also participated in the USA Hockey National Team Development Program Under-17 and Under-18. Following his time in junior hockey, Vargas played at Bowling Green University from 2008-2011 and received a professional tryout with the Houston Aeros (now the Iowa Wild).
