Chuhel graduated from Stillwater Area High School in 2010. Throughout high school he was recognized as a three year varsity hockey player and a two year lacrosse player. Earning assistance captain his senior year, he was also awarded as an All-Conference Honorable Mention sophomore and senior year, and Most Improved Player his sophomore year. ALex is majoring in exercise science with a minor in athletic coaching. He is the son of Brad and Amy Chuhel.
