Nik Anderson begins his fourth season as a member of the Bethel University baseball coaching staff. Anderson works directly with the Royals infielders and serves as the third base coach. Bethel has led the MIAC in fielding percentage the last two seasons under Anderson and posted the second highest fielding percentage in the history of NCAA DIII in 2017 (.980). Four Bethel infielders have been named to the MIAC All-Defensive Team in the last three seasons under Anderson's tutelage. In the summer, Anderson is the head coach of the Tri-City Red American Legion program, where he helped guide Red to back-to-back Minnesota American Legion State Championships in 2017 and 2018. Anderson was a two-year captain and part of a Bethel senior class in 2015 that rewrote the Bethel record books, winning 97 games in his four years. He was a four-year starter at shortstop and third base, earning MIAC All-Defensive Team honors at third base in 2015, while helping Bethel to their first-ever MIAC Championship. Anderson resides in Arden Hills, Minnesota.
