Bethel University Athletics

Jay Slick returns for his sixth year of coaching with the Bethel University baseball program. He serves as both the lead hitting instructor and first base coach. Prior to his time on the BU staff, Slick was a standout player for the Royals over his four-year career. A three-time All-MIAC honoree for the Royals, Slick recorded the best on-base percentage (.498), the third-best batting average (.386), and the sixth-best slugging percentage (.581) for a career in school history. Slick was honored to the ABCA/Rawlings All-Midwest Region Second Team in 2012 and the Third Team in 2009 and 2010. He and his wife, Katie, reside in North St. Paul, Minnesota.
