Erik Lovdahl

Erik Lovdahl, who was previously the pitching coach at Bethel from 1999-2005, is a pitching instructor with the current Royals staff. He has been a professional pitcher to go along with more than 14 years of coaching experience at the collegiate and high school levels. After a successful college pitching career, he posted a league-leading ERA in Class A during his first year as a pro. Lovdahl previously has been offered coaching duties in two professional leagues, and has been a guest speaker at various colleges, leagues, and organizations across Minnesota. Lovdahl is considered one of the most productive pitching coaches in the region.

Lovdahl is currently a batting practice pitcher for the Minnesota Twins, Director of the MYAS Gopher State Pitching Camp, and Director of the Minnesota Twins Youth Spring Training Camps and the owner of Lovdahl Pitching Academy and PHD Baseball Academy.

Lovdahl and his wife Lisa have three children - a daughter Jessa, and twin boys, Bo and Nick, and live in Roseville, Minn.
