Bethel University athletics is seeking student assistants to work as part of the marketing staff for the upcoming school year. These positions are eligible for internship status to receive class credit.

| ATHLETIC MARKETING ASSISTANT |
The Bethel Athletic Communications Office is seeking student assistants to work as part of the marketing and promotions staff during the school year. Student workers will assist the external relations team to plan and execute gameday promotional activities and improve fan experience.
Responsibilities:
- Implement promotional and gameday activities for assigned sports with the goal of increasing student attendance, improving fan experience and revenue generation.
- Improve game atmosphere through promotions, giveaways, contests, music, video board operations, etc.
- Promote athletic events within the local community
- Assist in fulfilling sponsorship elements such as logo exposure and promotional activities
- Coordinate with Event Management and Facilities staff prior to and during events to ensure proper set up of promotional and gameday activities
- Assist with office responsibilities and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be a current Bethel University undergraduate student
- Responsible for attending home games for assigned sports (includes days, nights, weekends, school breaks including J-Term)
- Must be available for all home football games: 9/9, 10/30, 10/21, 11/4, 11/11
- Work at events outside of assigned sports as well as team meetings
- Interest in collegiate athletics
- Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- No experience required, all class years are encouraged to apply

| ATHLETIC MARKETING LEAD ASSISTANT |
The Bethel Athletic Communications Office seeking student assistants to work as part of the marketing and promotions staff during the school year. Lead interns will work closely with their designated sport to plan promotional schedules, execute in-game activities, and improve fan experience.
This position is designed for students who have completed at least one year in the marketing internship program; however, all interested students are invited to apply. Students who are not selected as a lead intern will automatically be considered for our marketing assistant.
Responsibilities:
- Assist full-time staff with duties for designated sport(s)
- Create promotional schedules with theme days, giveaways, and more
- Implement promotional and gameday activities for assigned sports with the goal of increasing student attendance, improving fan experience and revenue generation.
