About Ben:
The newly elected captain of the Men's Track and Field team hopes to end his collegiate career in a big way. Capitan Irons hopes to PR in all of the throws and place at conference in the hammer throw and moving higher up on the Bethel all-time list.Â
In his first two years at Bethel, Ben was a two-sport athlete in both football and track. This year he has turned his focus to track and hopes to continue his success in the throws. Last season as a sophomore, Ben qualified for both Conference meets: Indoor in the weight throw and Outdoor in the hammer throw and javelin. Ben's personal best hammer throw of 136' 0" is 9th All-Time at Bethel. He looks forward to more great things in 2016. Ben is from Lake Mills, Iowa.Â
